On Sunday afternoon (the 27th of October, starting at 1 p.m.), guests of the Conrad Festival are invited to literary Reykjavik in the centre of Krakow. You will have the opportunity to sit on a literary bench (identical to those that can be found far and wide in Reykjavik) and listen to poems read out by some of Iceland‘s best known poets by scanning a QR-code with your smart-phone, watch short-films about Icelandic literature from the Fabulous Iceland project, and above all – read. There will also be live poets and writers straight from Reykjavik, a UNESCO City of Literature. And on your way home, look around the city carefully – you will find Icelandic Poetry on billboards, buses, and walls.
